SERGIO!!
WHO the hell is she?WHY is she holding him like that?HOW dare she kiss him?HOW dare he smile like he's enjoying it so?UGH!!Having a huge jealousy fit ever since I saw this.I bet that girl doesnt love him as much as I do,but there she is next to him and here I am begging to be in her place.
Moving on to more happy things.This made my ovaries hurt.
Never thought I could find something better than The Ramos in a pic but that lil girl is TOO cute!

Movie review "Whatever Works"
First of all,Id like to say that im not the biggest Woody Allen fan out there.But I have seen most of his movies,with my favorite being Match Point.Because Matthew Goode (the one that was chasing Liberty) was in it.Because of THAT scene and you all know which scene im referring too.King Henry rolling around in mudd with a girl with big lips,I heard her name was Scarlett.
With Whatever Works,dear Woody proves a true Tudors fan by casting Henry Cavill!That is the first,and probably the only,reason I decided to go see this movie.I am in love with this man!I dont have to say why,a picture is worth a million words:
If you decide to see it for the same reason,you will be disappointed in the beggining.Before you get the opportunity to drool over him,you have to tolerate an hour of a very pessimistic crampy old men in disturbing shorts,living a romance with a girl talking in an annoying southern accent.
But then he comes on,with his leather jacket and that voice I could hear for all eternity.The movie suddenly gets interesting.His role isnt very big,only a few scenes and a few kisses.No sex action :(
What I understood is that Allen is trying to portray the many different american cultures and how a southern family can change by moving up north.
First comes the daughter (Evan Rachel Wood),blonde,naive if not stupid.She marries the old guy (Larry David),who sings "happy birthday" every time he washes his hands and fails to kill himself by going through a window,twice.But in the end she finds love in the eyes of a romantic hottie (Henry) and lives happily ever after on a boat.
Then comes her mom.She is a very typical american.Pageant mom,religious,with pink dresses and a scrunchy.NY turns her into an hippie artist living and sleeping with 2 men(= most weird moment of the movie).
Finally comes the dad.Now he is one of those guys that have a gun and believe blacks,jews and gays are evil.Or at least thats what I thought.He meets a guy at a bar and becomes gay himself.
All that sound like they could make a funny movie,right?Well the truth is I didnt really laugh.The things that were funny in the trailor werent in the actual thing.Moreover,I felt like the characters were all very cliche.Maybe that was the point,but it didnt work for me.
In conclusion,my friend who had seen it before me said it would make me think about life and the way we live it.All I was thinking,is something I already knew:HENRY CAVILL IS HOT!!

Athens from the eyes of a NYer
If you're walking in the streets and get lost,Athenians will help you with directions.But you should never ask where to go at a table of drunk old men with mustaches.Probably they'll start fighing loudly with each other and everyone will show you a different way.Like that,you can find yourself near Omonia square being followed by a pack of dogs that appeared mysteriously out of nowhere or sharing a greasy souvlaki with a prostitute named Agatha.
Most young people speak english well but there are some expressions everybody should know like "ela malaka" and "ade yia mas ke i batsi makria mas".
In NY when you're interviewing various people for a band,a project,a trend,everybody will play the part of the humble coworker and will share the sucess.In Berlin,they'll give you detailed analysis of each persons offer.In Paris,in front of the coworkers they'll make good comments and then dish them behind their backs.In Athens,everyone will say they did it on their own.
In Athens,its totally normal to have slept with half your friends.
Nobody pays on the metro,half of the buses dont go where they're suppossed to or leave you where you have to go and the only person that knows the streets less than you is your taxi driver.On the other hand,if the driver takes you on a big circular adventure in town,just yell at him.Usually he'll admit his wrong and give you back your money.Maybe he'll even respect you for what you did.
Only when you're walking in the city center and admiring all the changes that have been made the last ten years-sidewalked roads,unlimited bars and cafes,new buildings-then some dude with crazy hair will run past you,with an old,garbage filled tricycle and a dog for copassenger,spilling you with mudd.
At a small concert or an art show there is always a great audience.At first you think thats amazing.Until you figure out its the same 50 people at every event.
If you fill a Athenians frige with food and booze,you can live at his house for as long as you want.And of course,feel free to put out your smokes out in his plant pots.
In Athens,its totally acceptable to live with your parents until you're 35.After that its a bit embarrassing but still not unusual.
Greek tv is made of shows about George Papandreou,soapoperas in which the actors have haircuts from the 90s,always look at each other with intensity and sometimes do murders.And a weird police comedy that everyone seems to like.
Athenians are the most funny,generous,outragous people in the world.Just dont expect them to be on time.
You'll never be able to win an Athenian in an alcohol drinking contest.

My stalking experience.

Tall,dark,scruffy and good with his hands.What more could you ask for?
The story of how I met him goes like this:A friend and I got into a game without tickets (another story) bla bla bla,after it was over we were lucky to pick the wrong stairs and found ourselves right outside the locker rooms with mostly WAGs waiting.We decided to stick around and blend in but of course that didnt quite work out when we started asking for autographs and my friend got on a table so she could reach her favorite player better....
My favorite player on the other hand wasnt coming out.Everybody else had left and he was still in there.We were going to lose the last bus so I decided to take charge,I went inside the locker rooms.And I found him.The door was open.He was changing.He didnt like the fact that I was there.I started to run.
Do you think thats the end of the story?.....Think again!
I turned back,went right in there and said "Could you at least give me your autograph?".He said "You're totally crazy but what the hell"
Im looking at that piece of paper while writing this.

Can I think of another 100 things?
1 If you're thinking that im self-centered,than you're probably right.
2 Lived without my own room or even my own bed for a year.
3 August 3rd 1998 was the worst day of my life yet I remember it more than any other day.
4 Im more of a mom to my brother than our mom is.Its been like that for the past 11 years.
5 Learned to swim when I was just 2,can stay in the water for hours.
6 I was conceived in Crete and always felt a strange connection to that island.
7 Teachers always picked me first for school plays.
8 Once won a "best manners" award in the 3rd grade and gave it back beause i thought it was a mistake.
9 Wanted to marry Aladdin.
10 My first crush was a little boy named Matt but I got over him when I saw him cry.
11 Im very good with children of any age.
12 Recently I get very emotional other football.
13 Me and my friend Eva tell ugly guys that we're lesbians so they wont hit on us.
14 Cant sleep before midnight no matter what.
15 Got addicted to playing Pokemon more than once.
16 My mom calls me Madonna.No idea why.
17 I continue to polish my toenails all through winter.
18 One of my professers at uni looks just like a younger Mr.Big.
19 And I could totally sleep with him to pass a class if necessary.
20 Could die if I didnt listen to music for a day.
21 Most risky thing I've done was jump from balcony to balcony on the 10th floor of a hotel.
22 Strangly the closest I've come to death wasnt that but a ride on a kiddy roller coaster.Half my body was hanging out of the seat.
23 I still like going on roller coasters.
24 I see people dying in my dreams when I really miss them.
25 I have a dream every night.Most of them seem very real.
26 For some reason I feel scared if a week goes by without getting into any fights with Luis.
27 I've been trying to learn portuguese for months now but its a total fail.
28 Philadelphia is like the back of my hand but I get lost in Athens.
29 My favorite number is still 17 even tho it was the jersey number of they guy that broke my heart.
30 In fact my friends called out "Its #17 coming in" every time they saw me until a few months ago
31 Now they sing this old greek song that goes "I'll become a brazilian woman...."
32 Weirdest way to make me jealous?Say "Im not that older than you" in a husky voice.

1 I've lived in 9 different houses,in 5 different cities/towns.
2 Engaged to a Brazilian named Luis Diogo Santos.
3 My biggest dream is to have many many kiddies.
4 I could give up my life only for my brother.

6 Hate people that arent as open-minded as me.
7 Favorite city is Philadelphia.

U20 Basketball European Champions:Greece!!
So we spent a weekend in Rhodes,my dad,my brother,his gf and me,wacthing our wonderful team and some of our personal friends win the championship!It was amazing!I'll let the pics talk for themselfs.
